Steve Gruetter

Steve Gruetter has championed the valued technology resources available from TechColumbus' Platform Lab since the company's inception in January 2002. As the non-profit organization's director, he was awarded a Wright Project Grant from the Ohio Department of Development to expand Platform Lab statewide in order to provide a competitive advantage to Ohio firms. As one of the most successful Third Frontier Program grantees, Steve has driven business nationally into Ohio via the Platform Lab Cloud offering and the Platform Lab Expertise Partner Program, an information brokerage program that matches client need to Ohio consultant core capabilities.

Steve partners with Ohio IT alliances Regional Growth Partnership, The Circuit, TechnologyFirst and numerous similar professional development organizations to promote technology interest and education throughout Ohio. He is an active member of the Contingency Planners of Ohio, the Information Security Systems Association, the VMware Users Group and is recognized as a valuable contributor to the Ohio IT community.

Prior to joining Platform Lab, Steve worked in a similar capacity with two Ohio IT firms; he also worked for 10 years as a senior business analyst at Dun & Bradstreet in Los Angeles and Columbus. Steve is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University and resides in Hilliard with his wife and two children.
