Hardcore Computer at Platform Lab
As Platform Lab continues to be a local leader in green IT technologies, they are proud to announce that Hardcore Computer a total liquid submersion-cooled blade server systems available to clients of Platform Lab Hardcore Computer custom designs and manufactures top-tier, high-performance computer systems. These systems use patented liquid submersion cooling technology to remove the main barrier of electronics performance — heat. In addition to high-performance desktop computer systems, Hardcore’s liquid submersion technology is suitable for cooling a number of computing platforms, such as servers, desktop, storage systems and mobile.
The purpose of liquid submersion in a blade system is to allow the machines to run at a higher efficiency for a longer amount of time. The compact nature of blades and the need to disperse the heat they put off has created the opportunity for new technology to overcome these issues as 40 percent of the energy cost to run a data center is allocated in cooling. In addition to a reduction in power consumption, the Hardcore Computer blades also have a limited amount of fans, which reduces the noise drastically when compared to typical racked servers.
