Platform Lab is a unique non-profit information technology test facility created to directly serve the technology needs of growing businesses in Ohio and across the nation. We offer cost-effective, on demand availability of technology resources that can be custom tailored to suit companies ranging in size from small start-ups to international enterprises.

From disaster recovery drills to server load testing, our labs are flexible enough to serve a diverse range of testing needs across a variety of hardware and software platforms.

Cluster Computing

On-demand cluster computing in the newest Platform Lab offering. Clients can access the hardware remotely to perform the requested functions quickly and easily.

We can establish massive VPN capability quickly and allocate the hardware efficiently; setup time is measured in minutes, not days. Our standard Cluster Computing environment consists of an 8 node/16 processor/32 core 3.0 GHz Intel cluster available on-site or remote access.

Standard Cluster specs include Intel64 architecture, 64 GB RAM, 2.3 TB disk and MS Compute Cluster operating system. This environment is available "as is" for $2,400/week.

Platform Lab has outstanding flexibility as the timeframe, number of cores, processors, nodes, RAM, disk and operating system can be adjusted per client request.
